Lambs Attacked in Wroxall Field

We’re investigating after one lamb had to be put down and another was injured after being attacked by what’s believed to be a dog or dogs in a field at Cooks Castle Farm in Wroxall.

It happened sometime between 25 – 29 June. It’s not known how many dogs were involved or if both attacks happened at the same time.

We’re asking for anyone who saw the attack or has any information about it to contact us on 101 quoting 44170248154.

The fields where it happened are near to the Shanklin to Wroxall cycle path.

We’re also advising people to make sure they keep their dogs on leads if walking them on the footpaths near the area or when near any livestock.
